DaMan Posted June 3, 2012 Share Posted June 3, 2012 My Windows Update Error 8000FFFF error message was received when I clicked the Icon in my desktop tray to conduct the automatic Windows Update. A dialog box appeared from the following: Control Panel --> System and Security --> Windows Update The message read: Some updates were not installed 9 updates failed Error(s) found: Code 8000FFFF Windows Update encountered an unknown error I went to Microsoft "Fix It" and conducted a search on this error. If either of these are my solution, then I'm not quite sure how they apply. Is there another link that will get me up to that point to use either of those solutions. Right now, I'm concerned about the safety of my PC. Thank you.
