Guest Ruabozo Posted March 30, 2012 Share Posted March 30, 2012 I have a Dell Optiplex 790 with Windows 7 Professional SP1, 32bit. I created a generic user when the system was installed. I later changed the name of the user from the Control Panel> User Accounts and selected Change account name. When I login to the computer it accepts the changed user name and password. If I login remotely via Remote Desktop I have to use the Old user name. If I go to Remote Desktop settings the new user name does not appear in the list of users that are allowed to connect to Remote Desktop. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? Continue reading...
