Basically, i have a friend, her parents are always fighting and ****, but on top of that, Tuesday morning, 4 of her friends were burned at the stake when they were asleep.(it was all over the news)

She is sad every day and cries out of nowhere sometimes She was talking to me about death the whole time i was talking to her on MSN.

I dont know what to do

My best friend wants to commit suicide

you tell her that no matter what you will always love her, and that you would be heartborken and shattered if she did that. You show her that you love her and don't abandon her. She may have a temper every now and then, but you have to ignore it and continue to show your love.

Are you kidding me! MAN, that has to be rough. There's really nothing you can do to help their mental battle, but you can always support them and tell them you love them, it's ultimatly thier decision though.

about the suicid ething...just show her that you're there for her... i've been in that situation... having a friend try to kill themself... so i know... just dont let them get hold of sharp objects or rope, or a gun... (my friend tried to stab herself... she missed and hit her ribs thank goddess... )

but yeah just let her know that you're there for her...through thick or thin... no matter what... other than that... PRAY...to whatever *** you think will listen...

Just tell her that there are too many things in life to just give up; some bad things can turn out good later on in life, and most of all, show that you care; don't be all happy go lucky, she'll think you dont understand. Try to preoccupy her from thinking about suicide.

What stake?! Burned? Were they accused as witches or something?! Eh, that's really strange. If you meant that literally, I'm so sorry to hear =( That's a horrible way to die!! I haven't heard about this on the news yet, maybe sometime tomorrow or whenever. That's scary :\

I think you should definately be worried about your friend, and her suicidal thoughts. I can totally understand how she's feeling, she lost 4 friends, that's just terrible =( I suppose she just needs somebody to be there for her and care for her. Have a chat with her in real life, tell somebody if you have to. Your parents, her parents, a teacher or a councellor whatever, it doesn't matter, but she might need help. Don't let her be alone with sharp objects and such. I'm so sorry about your situation, and I wish all the best for your friend!

FadedBlue, tell your friend that suicide is just a permenant solution to a temporary problem. Remind her that you are still here for her, and that you are her shoulder to cry on. Be there for her...

ok, my sister is suidial, what you need to do is tell her you love her, you'll alwys be there for her, give her lots of hug, and NEVER LEAVE HER ALONE, make sure someone is with her at all times, and if i were you get her some help asap

well if someone is very sucidal then they shouldn't be left alone, trust me i know, my sister has a problem with that, so i'm sticking with what i said before, don't leave her alone!!
