It's winter. It's never 0F outside when it's not winter. Really. And

the coyotes are howling. And the wind is whistling through the pines.

Just like in the moovies when people are about to freeze to death or get

et by a grizzly bear. For damb sure it ain't summer out there.

Haven't heard the coyotes yet. No bear-tracks in the snow, either.

Maybe it's an economic-collapse-triggered drop-off in jet-traffic cooling

things off, just like the ban on air-travel cooled things off in the week

after 9/11.

Or an economic-collapse-triggered drop-off in ground-traffic, for that

matter (lotta heat and CO2 emitted there).

I'm glad you can get the Barq's now.

It's the only caffeinated root-beer that I know of.

Barq's fruit sodas-- orange, grape and above all their "creme soda", which

is something between raspberryish and strawberryish-- are also quite

excellent, although non-caffeinated.

thank you. it means a trip upto london to get it, but i can make the

sacrifice for my greater enjoyment of life, rootbeer and ummm

rootbeer. we can get rootbeer at asda, but its *****.
