I just recieved a phone call from someone who was obviously a telemarketer by the background noise, who stated their name and where they were calling from but after asking him to repeat it (numerous times) because I couldn't understand him, he then said he was from Microsoft. Then he repeated something about them receiving information that we were unsecure and that I should get on my computer and get him a number off it. yeah right! I'm in Australia and hadn't heard of this scam, but knew something wasn't right and hung up. Has there been many scams like this in Australia?
