I have a Compaq FS7600 PC that I bought in Dec. 2005. I have Windows XP Home Edition V 2002, Service Pack 3. I have McAfee Anti Virus Software installed and running. The problem I'm having is that I wanted to use a 16 or 32 GB SD card to back-up my files.
My PC will read the old 1 or 2 GB SD cards but won't read the larger ones. It gives me an I/O error. Can I download something that will make the computer recognize the larger storage devices or do I need to bite the bullet and buy a new PC?
