Ahhlee
I may as well tell you all this because you think I'm half loopy anyway.... Sometimes I have psychic moments. It's difficult to explain it, but every so often I can feel what people are thinking or doing. There are certain people that the connection is stronger with, and I can feel things that are happening to them, but I don't talk about it because there's no way they would understand the depth to which I can feel them. I don't even understand it myself and I definitely can't control it. It just happens when it happens. Whatever this is, it's getting stronger and more frequent. This week, a man in our community committed suicide. I know who he was, but I don't know much about what was going on with him personally to cause him to take his own life. Last night, I was driving home from work and passed by his house which is en route to my own. For some reason, I was compelled to look at it. Suddenly, I started to shake uncontrollably and it was as if a wave of energy came from the house and hit me. At that moment, I felt what he was feeling the split-second he pulled the trigger of that gun! He was so depressed and so overtaken by drugs that he felt there was no other way out. Logically, he thought he was doing the right thing by offing himself and figured he would no longer be a burden on his loved ones once he was gone. But when he pulled the trigger, his heart and soul came into play...his true self, if you will...and he realized the finality of what he had just done and he was filled, absolutely FILLED, with sadness and remorse. It was a horrible feeling and utterly heartbreaking! I have a bad feeling that the regret he has over what he did will keep his spirit earthbound....instead of being at rest, his sense of hopelessness will continue. I started to sob. Luckily I only live two and a half blocks away so I managed to drive the rest of the way home, but I was still shaking. I went into my house and wept tears for his pain. Hours later, the feeling subsided but when I think about it I can still recall the intensity of the moment. Needless to say, sleep eluded me and probably will again tonight. You don't have to believe me...hell, I barely believe it myself. All I know is right now I would be hard pressed to choose whether this "gift" is a blessing...or a curse. timesjoke
'Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another.' ~ Einstein Even if you do not believe in God, believe in science that tells us energy only changes form, it does not just dissapear. I certainly believe things like this are possible.
Chi
I've had similar things happen to me before. But I can't be sure if it's just something I came up with in my mind or something real. I usually end up dismissing it, but I'm glad I'm not the only person who this happens to:)

I usually end up dismissing it, but I'm glad I'm not the only person who this happens to:) Yeah, I used to think it was just my mind playing tricks on me, but somehow these psychic moments feel different. It's hard to explain it, but it comes from outside of myself. It's really bizarre. When I was on a haunted tour in Vegas, we went to a haunted murder scene and were given dowsing rods to "feel" out spirits. I did it mostly as a lark, but stopped when the rods crossed and I felt the boys who were killed. They didn't even know it was coming. Then I kept walking and the rods started spinning counterclockwise and I said, "This is where the killer decided he was going to gun down those boys! This is the very spot where he made that decision!" The tour guide confirmed it and one of the ladies on the tour got so freaked out she went and sat in the bus...lol. I'm a fukking freak. timesjoke
It's all about jealousy in TJ's world. Not all but it is certainly a very big motivation for many people. Some people cannot see past their obsessions: Why is it you have to try and twist anything I say into an excuse to take a shot at me? I was just making a funny, can I ever be allowed to just chill and joke like everyone else or must you hound my every step? There is nothing wrong with my comment and there was nothing wrong with what I said in the shoutbox, I was only trying to show recognition to Ali for the other things that go with being broke into other than the obvious damage done. timesjoke
I don't care how much it would improve her character, the world needs all types to make it interesting. If everyone agreed on everything it would be a very boring world.
