IE7 with Vista blocking my download of music samples

Hello,

I cannot open and listen to music samples. A message window appears and

disappears before I could read what it says, and even when I click on "open

in new window" the window shuts down in one second without opening the

content.

I have already set the security settings to allow or ask before allowing

just about everything, accepted pop-ups, switched off the secure mode,

checked whether temporary files are in the right place, and restarted my

laptop. Yet my problem remains.

Could someone help me with a suggestion in a very detailed style and simple

language? (I don't understand any of the jargon used here)

Barbara, what site are you at to try to listen to music samples? Can you give

us a direct link to one of the samples that breaks?

Have you scanned your computer for malware recently? Also, please turn

secure mode back on. I presume you mean Internet Explorer Protected Mode? You

really, really, want that on.
