If I unstall Office 2003 and install Office 2010 will I lose everything

I downloaded a trial version of Office 2010 but cannot use it because I am missing a file from my Office 2003. It said to uninstall and reinstall Office 2003 but I now longer have the disk or product key (lost them in a move) so I can't reinstall or repair it. If I uninstall the program will I lose everything or will I be able to install the Office 2010 and still be able to access the previous version files? Thanks!
