A question for all of you...

If somebody were to build a site solely for rare LP content, what would you want available for download?

oops...

Back to the topic of a mp3 site. Demos are always good. The pre hybrid theory material is always hard to find. Any of the splitting the DNA stuff would be cool.

plaster is a demo of one step closer, and it's EXTREMELY rare. as far as i'im concerned, nobody has the right version. it's really easy to make a fake plaster demo with the studio and rock edit versions of osc, so i don't think anybody's got the real plaster.

[im tired, wasnt thinking very straight^^^]

Does anyone know for a fact that Plaster DOES in fact exist or is this just some thing that someone made up a while ago that just started showing up places because people thought that it existed, without there ever being the son to prove it...

Shoutweb:

"One Step Closer" is the big single that is out now. It used to be called "Plaster"?

Mike:

Yes, "Plaster" was the working title. "One Step Closer" was maybe a little bit more descriptive. I actually wrote that and a bunch of people went "uh... I don't know". Even I went "ugh" and I thought for a minute that it wasn't a good idea to write that song and it sounded kind of bad but then we just went full speed ahead and said screw it. So far it's become one of the more memorable parts of the album. We're happy that people have something like that to hold on to as far as remembering. The song is generally about being at the end of your rope. It's very descriptive and I think that's why people gravitate towards it. It's a very self-descriptive song and it's easy to understand and probably very easy to relate to.

Don't know if that's relevant to that "plaster" song you guys are talking about but I just thought it was worth a shot at copy pasting =)

Umm I personally would love to get more instrumentals. And some live versions of songs.
