Illumination of darkness
Drowned by shadows,
You can hardly see.
Caged by this darkness,
inside of me.
My saving is your light
It strengthens me in my fight
Like a falling star,
A shimmer seen from far.
Like a lighthouse in this storm,
A beacon,
A marking of hope.
Something for me to hold on to,
Something that will pull me through
A dancing fire,
A warm desire,
So much pain,
It can cause when too close
But soothing to those,
Who can let their feelings go
In their eyes the illumination shows
It makes this dark depth
A little less deep.
It makes this black day,
A little more grey.
The clouds more visible
Full of tears like a waterfall,
Let it rain,
Calmly on my skin
This sensation I feel within,
No longer a sin,
It is my illumination
That little light,
That will get me through
This dark cold night.
So beautiful and white
It keeps me alive
A hug, a kiss,
