I'm a dancer, *****!

After this soccer thread, and stuff I wanted to have a dancer thread. I don't think here are a lot of but anyways...

Here's my 'story':

One day (I was 9 years old), me and my mum went to this dancing school and I liked it there... We did at the begining most of all video clip dance and hip-hop, but the older ones did salsa, musicals and almost everything else... I was always one of the best (the whole group had like 200 ppl)...after 6 years I was old enough to go to the 'youth' (there were groups: kids, teens and youths kinda like that)... but I got sick of it bc we just did musicals... so I quit after 6 years (that happend summer '06)!! There was also a personal problem between me and the teacher but thats not important...

After I quit that I heard from my best friend (she was there too but also quit some months ago) that they were doing My Love + Sexyback and that not all learnd the dance just like 5 (the oldest)... and that sucked...

I'm happy now bc I can dance to music I want to... If im in mood to do salsa im doin salsa... if i want to dance to LP song, **** im doin it!!

anyone watch that show so you think you can dance? that show is good coz they are so goood

i dont dance, i randomly flail arms and legs everywhere to the music. im sure that counts...

yeah i think i know the show... the german version... yeah they really can dance!!

sooooo.....i dance now for 7 years...no...8 years. it all started when i saw some cheerleaders dancing on someones game( basketball)..and i liked it...so i started to practice. i was a cheerleader for 4 years...then i started to hate it because i didn't like the music that we're dancing on.....so i met a girl who was dancing hip hop...and i joined her in class....and since then(4 years now) i'm a hip hop dancer and i like it very very much. but now i'm on vacation because i twisted my ankle so i can't dance for another 2 weeks....it sux....

oooh...i forgot...when i was a cheerleader we were a very good team

so we won a lot of competitions and as a hip hop dancer we don't dance in a group in competitions but as an individual...and i won several medals too :D

@Maya: it seems to be very cool if you have medals!! we didnt do competitions that sux! :(

and its cool you found something again you like!! hope your ankle is goin to be fine after your vacation... sometimes my knee hurted so i couldnt dance for like one dancing lesson :p but that was enough for me! :D

i hurt my knee too(last year)...i had a plaster :( so i couldn't dance for 2 months :( but...i love to dance so i doesn matter if i get hurt.... :D

about the competitions....this year i'm not in the competition group because of my knee ...so i'm dancing just for fun....ok...i'm having fun when i compete too...but this is different....( i'm sorry i'm not good with explanations) ...and thanx for the wishes :)

no probs...

Right now I'm dancin just at home... for fun... :D

They are like 3-4 dancing schools in my town... the 1 i left... 1 closed and the other 2 are **** (in my opinion)... a friend is going to one its from the famous german dancer, maybe you know him, detlef d! soost or d! something like that... and once i went with her in hope id like it... but i was wrong...

yeah... but idk he's overrating himself... and ppl do that too...

yeah...he thinks he's one of the best choreographers...but he never really worked with international stars....
