I'm Drinking Some Year-Old Pepsi

Maybe older, since it has an expiration date of September of this year.

I hope the Everclear sterilizes it.

It does still foam, being from a two-quart-- "liter", ha!-- resealable

bottle from which only one glass had been removed.

I was going to go out for some pop and stuff, but the light rain from a

bit back has started freezing on everything and you can shoe-ski on my

front-porch and sidewalk-- even with my Tevas!-- so that's out 'til the

morning thaw.

Snow, I can drive on, and like to drive on; ice, fugeddaboudit.

Are you saying this bottle of Pepsi had been ~opened~ at least a year ago?

I know you believe you understand what you think I said,

but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not

Yes, once, I'd say. About a twelve-ounce glass's worth missing. Still

quite "live" (I poured some in the sink and it fizzed quite nicely).

I'm sEEinG coLorS.

My friends, I have come to you from a faraway land

of sand and palm upon a voyage of discovery,

and I count myself fortunate above all men,

for upon this my first night in your land

I have been taken to your leader, King Peyote,

and have been raised up instead of put down,

and have been shown the wonders of the world

which are presently turning red before me

and falling like a waterfall.

Did you turn the bottle upside down to see if anything was growing in the

Uh-oh. Year old open Pepsi is having the same effect as Rocky after a good

sloshing. This can only lead to addiction.
