Guest johnny77 Posted February 15, 2012 Share Posted February 15, 2012 I have a small workgroup of computers (mixture of XP and 7 machines) in which I have a batch file on each system that will run a RoboCopy of their local data down to another pc acting as the 'backup station' The batch file is C:\BackupLocal.bat I want to set up a hidden user with administrator priveledges that will run this batch file after hours even if the main user is logged out. My problem is that they use the Windows user screen to select their log in name and go and I didn't want another username showing up on that list. The users are always changing their passwords so I can't really use their usernames in a task because it will stop working once they change their password. So for example, I would like to set up username: backupadmin with a password and either do this remotely or if I have to go to each machine, that would be fine. Backups would run at 7pm each day.
