My company just got a new Windows 7 64 bit laptop that came with Internet Explorer 9. We need to have Internet Explorer 8 installed on the computer for certain processes we run. I looked online and can't find a IE8 install for windows 7. We have a few Windows 7 32 bit computers we got before IE 9 came out that have IE8 pre-installed on them so I know that IE8 works on Win 7. All the versions I have found will give me an error on install like, "Internet Explorer 8 not compatible with this OS". I have tried running it in compatibility mode and everything but nothing has gotten it to install. Is there a way to install IE 8 on a Windows 7 64 bit computer?
