I am using Vista SP2 with automatic updating. I downloaded security essential for the virus protection. It somehow uninstalled Security Center. I can not start Security Center, Firewall, or Defender. I tried pausing Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and deleting C:\Windows|System32\webm\repository, resumed WMI. Repository rebuilt, but Security Center is still missing even after reboot. Is Security Essential meant to run with Security Center firewall?
