Vista KB2633171 failed, I get failed update for security update error "fffffffe"

when i`m asked to run a security update for Windows Vista i get failed update for security update for Windows Vista,error"fffffffe". I dont know how to fix this,I have gone through all tips in Windows Help.When I view update history it says,security update for Windows Vista KB2633171 failed. Dont know what to do
