Internet Explorer 9 just stops

My Internet Explorer 9 on my Windows 7 Home keeps giving me a message saying that IE9 has stopped working and trying to find the problem. It then says when a fix is found I would be notified. This messes up my hotmail acct and other programs that I try to log into. It will freeze up the sites. Any help?
