Always tells me a restart is required.

Security Essentials had detected a threat. After I tell it to disinfect the issue it tells mee a restart is required. No matter how many times I restart or tell it to disinfect, it always tells me I need to restart my computer. The threat detected is "Win32/Alureon. How do I solve the problem?
