2008 Elections are on their way and two candidates that seem as though they may take the next office are either not male or not white. Barrack O'Bama and Hillary Clinton are both heading for office. Barrack is African American and Clinton is a female. Both would be a first in the America to become president. Now I know the foreigners might not exactly get the great complication of inheriting a black person or female as president but it's tough. 75% of the US is white and racism is still a strong factor in the U.S. We don't really have lynching happening like it used to back in the 60's and later but it shows up behind closed doors in family talk and in subtle ways all the time. Black people have always been treated like **** there is no way around it. Of course now there is no arguing that they have way more rights and are waaay better off than say 200 years ago, but lets face it affirmative action only works so good when your parents where forced into section 8 projects. And yet the highest crimes do occur in the minority region so would the nation or the world in fact be ready for a president of color. I think Clinton has it easier. While I still think a female president would be a revolutionary step forward i believe that since she is white she'd have an easier time than barrack not saying that she'd have it easy though.
anyways so what do u think?
