Yeah I know he's not rock or metal or whatever, but I think this guy is amazing. I don't have his album but I love 'You're Beautiful', 'High' and 'Goodbye My Lover' so much. I think his songwriting is beautiful.

And it's even more stupid, because he just got a smile from a beautiful girl in the subway...I mean sheesh. If those are the reasons to commit suicide these days, I'm already dead !

You said you dont care about the lyrics, so that means that you never listened closely (??) to the songs. So you have opinions of what you see and what you hear which is just the voice.

And I don't like his voice, which is something that plays a significant part in weather or not I like an artist or band...and from what I hear, from him being over-played on the radio, is that he isn't a good lyricist. He commits suicide because some random pretty girl he saw at the subway will never be with him. Great lyrics mixed with the greatest music video of all time *sarcasm*
