Jets name Bowles as head coach

Todd Bowles, who spent the past season as an Arizona Cardinals assistant coach, has been named head coach of the New York Jets, the National Football League team announced on Wednesday. The 51-year-old Bowles becomes the 18th head coach in Jets' franchise history, replacing Rex Ryan who was fired on December 29.
