Jets receiver Marshall cleared in NFL punch-up case

New York Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall was cleared Friday by a jury that found the woman suing him in civil court failed to prove he punched her in a nightclub brawl. Christina Myles of Chino, California, brought the suit in Manhattan federal court alleging she was struck by Marshall outside a New York club in March of 2012. Marshall, who was never criminally charged, told the jury Thursday that he feared for his life while fleeing the club after fights broke out.
