GALVESTON, Texas -- The possible mother of a baby found dumped on the side
of a Galveston road has become less cooperative, officials told KPRC Local 2
Thursday.
An autopsy performed Wednesday determined the cause of the 3-month-old's

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. -- A woman looking after an 8-month-old baby was
arrested this week after a two-month investigation into the child's death.
The baby died Dec. 7, a day after a deputy found the infant unconscious and
not breathing on the living room floor of Yvette Nicole Craddock's home.
A deputy, working off duty at a neighboring apartment complex, heard the
first 911 call and rushed to Craddock's home, located in the 1100 block of
Xenia Street. The deputy performed CPR until firefighters arrived. The
infant was airlifted to a local hospital, but could not be revived.
The sheriff's office opened an investigation in the case, but did not arrest
Craddock until Wednesday. She is being held for investigation of child abuse
resulting in death.
She remains in the Arapahoe County Detention Facility in lieu of $150,000
bond.
The cause of the child's death has not been released.
