Just A Phase?

I've been tinking...I don't like being a girl, so when I am of legal age I should get a sex change.

 

I read up on it and stuff...

 

My parents wouldn' support me...

 

Does anyone think this is just a phase I'm going through?

im not like that...not all girls want to constantly show theiur bodies off...is that the onleh reason...the fact that yoo dont want to flaunt yoor body

I think it's just a phase. You just have to be yourself and don't keep questioning it. Because that's when you confuse yourself. If you grow up and still want a sex change...then do it...But don't worry about that yet...it's a long ways away...give yourself time to change your mind.

uh well.... it's probably just a phase. Most girls around 13 dont feel comfortable with themselves. You'd be surprised how many of those girls who "flaunt" hate their bodies. Its really hard to say if its just a phase or not. but I have kind of a person question for you.

 

Are you straight, lesbian, or bisexual? Because that could have something to do with how your feeling.

Acceptance in yourself is the first step on the path of self-happiness.

Ur only 13, probably a phase u feel very insecure bout who and what you are in your teens. It's unlikely at 13 u would know exactly what u want and when your 13 you probably dont know the full implications of the surgery and stuff, u dont need to flaunt your body to gain acceptance most of my girl freinds (not GIRLfreinds) dont falunt their bodies off.

 

The most important thing to remember unlie many discussions and considerations posted this one isnt reversable. But at 13 I think its mainly your uncertainty and insecurity which is natural at this age mainly fueling this, its more then likely to pass in the near future.

those are they girls who put up fronts. they think if other people like their bodies they will. listen everyone goes through the phase where either dont feel comfortable about their bodies or they want to change something about it. you'll get throught it dont worry about it but if comes a time when you feel like you REALLY shouldnt be a girl then think about it. or it has something to do about your childhood. did you hang out out with guys alot and now that your coming of age you feel like you have to show off? cuz i kinda went through that to show that i do have feminine (sp/) side. if you want a quikie solution. start looking at clothes you regularly wouldnt like. find something you like that does make you comfortable. if you cant do that then just try to embrace what you have. i mean you have a thin body. EMBRACE IT! because when your older youre probably not gonna have that body anymore. i mean im a little chubby and i looooove it. just okay. look at yourself in the mirror everyday in the morning (corny warning) and "I am woman. I love my body no matter what. they're maybe some out there who are constantly self concious like me but I SHALL learn to love myself and my body for who and what they are. because i am woman. and i love myself and my body because i am me."

i did that in my head a lot and soon i sarted to feel comfortable in my own skin. because i learned the my imperfections make my skin and body and unique thats why i should love and be comfortable because its me. i dont know it may not work for you but it worked for me so give it a try.

You "don't like being a girl"...so that is your only reason for wanting a sex change? You must be joking...

I understand you so much. I'm not saying that I really agree with you, it's still your decision. If you think it's really necessary to do that, why not? If you think you really can't continue your life as a girl [considering your future and what you want to be], then go for it. Just make sure you can endure all consequences. You should listen to yourself and make up your mind..carefully. At your age it's not that easy. Let me just ask you a question though, when do you think is the right time?

I think until I'm legally an adult, then I can make a decision and actually do it. ;-;

 

And to the one person who said I might be lesbian, or to others who asked my sexuality...I don't know yet. I find all people attractive. But I might be just really horny.

What it seems to me is that it is indeed just a phase, as others have said before me. Your young, wait and give this some time. If it continues, then yes its possible you'll want to get a sex change. A nice little operation against God's will. Hahaha just kidding I don't believe in God so do what you want and what you feel is right. But in this case, just give it time and then decide.

I think you need to think about it more.

then i was too thin, life goes on...You don't need your parents approval, but you need to know what you truly believe.

I don't THINK I am male, I just don't feel comfortable in my female body. I had no intention of 'convincing' anyone about anything.

My advice to you is to not take advice from anybody else regarding what you should do about this. Ask for pro help. And ask yourself 'Do I really wanna lose what I have been for 13 years? Do I want to change what I was destined to be'
