Two-time major champion Martin Kaymer of Germany fired a one-under par 69 Friday to reach the clubhouse with a share of the lead in the second round of the PGA Championship. Kaymer was level with 18-hole leader Jimmy Walker, an American who opened on 65 and had yet to start his second round, and Sweden's Henrik Stenson, who won the British Open two weeks ago.
