One of my favourite things to watch. I like the fact that they choose only awesome bands, usually the ones I like, that are stopping on their way through Paris for a show and capture them acoustically in the streets. They usually do two songs with each band. If you've seen La Blogothèque, then what would be some of your favourites?

I watched the 1st galf, I think...or more...and I must say that I absolutely love the 1ts 3 or something like that...I even downloaded some music...

Absolutely...I really like Menomena...Grizzly Bear are okay...and The National is sweet...>those are the majority of the ones I downloaded...

Cool cool. Did you download "Yellow House" by Grizzly Bear? Anything else by them were just home recording demos of one or two of the guys. So I consider YH more like a full band debut. Beautifully home-recorded and one of the best albums of last year making many top 10 lists. Their new 10 track "Friend EP" will be leaking soon where half the album is other bands covering their songs from YH and a few other new gems. Don't know how good it'll be , but it's a good way to tide peeps like me over until their next real album comes out. Long live Beach Boy vocals!

And yeah, Menomena and The National are wonderful bands as well. Love their music. If you like the weirdness of Menomena, you will probably like Islands debut album (ex-members of The Unicorns).
