Sorry if there is already a topic about this band, but i coulnd't find any threads about it.

Lacuna Coil is a alternative metal/gothic metal band from Milan, Italy.According to the band, they are and have been influenced by Paradise Lost, Tiamat, Septic Flesh, Type O Negative, Imago Mortis, Depeche Mode , and In Flames, amongst others. However, much of their more recent material sees a more down-tuned style similar to that of some of their influences such as Korn and Meshuggah.

* Cristina Scabbia - Female vocals (Contralto)

* Andrea Ferro - Male vocals (Tenor)

* Cristiano "Pizza" Migliore - Guitar

* Marco "Maus" Biazzi - Guitar

* Marco Coti Zelati - Bass and keyboards

* Cristiano "Criz" Mozzati - Drums

So have you heard about them, and if yes...do you like them?

I heard of them...some of my friends are big fans....but it's not really the kind of music I listen to myself....but I don't mind listening to it when someone plays it

It's not like Lacuna Coil is some deep underground band just because they're are from Italy. Of course there's a good amount of people that have heard of them. Their music isn't really my thing though. It just does nothing for me. On a positive note, the lead singer is drop dead gorgeous.

Lacuna Coil was godly they're slowly becoming more mortal though. I didn't like their new album Karmacode. They sound too much like a gothic version of KoRn mixed for some Evanescene. It's a shame too they use to be awesome. I have their Comalies album which from what I've heard is considered their best album. If you're interested songs I'd check out are.
