My 450 after it's first run last year.. The muddiest I've ever gotten it (riding/racing MX, no trails at all..) I hate mud..:disgust:

Holy ****, mud! I'll hit the mid once every couple years. Nothing thick and nasty with deep holes. I'll take the quads out to the dry lake bed while pouring rain. It becomes a slick fun area to fine tune handling and sliding skills. We usually are covered in mud when done.

Aside from that, every time I take my bike out I get asked if it is brand new. I clean and polish the quad after every ride.

I'd love to have the time to polish every time. Usually when I get back from riding I get pulled in 3 different directions and can't finish the ride process. Last winter other than the rebuild my quad sat dirty all season.

Soon as I get hOme, simple green and pressure washer comes out! Then after a good bath it's sprayed down with wd40 on the motor and wires and chain line on chain. Plastics get a bit of pledge. She's all ready for next time
