Like writing? Why not give this a try?

I just set up a small forum dedicated to a small creative writing project I want to start up.

http://zombieapocalypse.myfastforum.org/index.php

All the info you'll wanna read is on the site. If you don't wanna participate in the actual writing part, please at least give suggestions on guidelines and things like that to keep it interesting.

I'm sorry for using a free hosting site like this, I was too lazy to set it up otherwise since I'm not sure whether this will end up working or not.

Thanks

Pete

yeah see the thing is, they're not...

I'm not sure whether it says in the very few rules posted by ATLien (admin/founder of LPF) somewhere, but if not, it's been an unwritten rule here

I still see no problem to this, he isn't asking for money, or donations or anything, so it's not lie the the worst thing I dont think, and no mods seem to care about when Hahn does it. Just my thoughts

I suppose, I still feel it fair for Peter to be able to do this, it's honestly only fair, but we should let the mods deal with this, and not let us fight

I have nothing against Pete lol

I might join that place myself

I'm just saying, throughouth lpf's history, other decent people's threads have been closed and links removed...

It's not fair if everyone else is penalized but him. If he posted it in his journal or something that's prolly fine.

I don't care if he is or isn't punished for this, but there has to be some consistency.

(I might join too)

Heres where I stand, I know on the rules state no advertisement, but I don't see a problem as long as the person advertising is an active member, like Pete. So, I am personally not going to delete this, but if another staff member feels the need to go ahead.. What I do have a problem with is when people join just to advertise their site, that is when I will delete it.. My 2 cents.

Word. IMO everyone has to be treated equally (with everyone i mean "active regulars) like you said, victim... you don't mind active members to place ads.. It would be unjustified if only staff members were allowed to place ads.. just because they are higher in position than us?

If "Staff" members are allowed, then regulars are also entitled to do so.

It doesn't bother me and it shouldn't bother anyone else either... you are not obligated to join or anything. You're free to do whatever u want with the ad.

Feel free to disagree/delete (with) my post.

I completely agree... Thats why I never bothered to delete CFTI stuff, because Mark is an active member, and thats why I have not deleted this thread either. I don't believe the staff should be allowed to advertise everywhere, if active and regular members who do not cause problems for the staff can't as well.
