Linkin Park is so WRONG

I was browsing limewire about a week ago and came apon Linkin Park doing the Guns N' Roses song Sweet Child O' Mine song. I was listening and by the first chorus they stopped the song and said let's shut this crappy music up. That made me so,so,so,so,so mad. Guns N' Roses is my favorite band in the WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD. I know that not everyone likes them its their choice. But Guns N' Roses are legends. They have been around a whole lot longer than Linkin Park. I think the reason that Linkin Park stopped in the first chorus because the guitar player couldn't play that solo like the guitar *** SLASH. Guns N' Roses has one of the best guitar players in the history. They are considered one of the best groups in history and they have earned it to.The only reason I became a member was to set and tell fellow Linkin Park fans this. I'm pretty sure that some of yall don't like Guns N' Roses and that is fine with me I could care less. But Linkin Park isn't even in the same ball park as Guns N' Roses. Music now days is awful. Back in the 60's,70's, 80's,and early 90's music rocked it didn't matter what you looked like it mattered if you could play, hold a note in tune, and jam. Music was music then. Guns N' Roses always sticked in their genre. Unlike Linkin Park singing with Jay-Z, and they want to set and make fun of Guns N' Roses. I recently saw the Rolling Stones in concert and they are in their sixties. And Linkin Park, Green Day, Limp Bizuit whoever couldn't never even in their wildest dreams compare to them. When the lead singer of Guns N' Roses gets off stage (Axl Rose) I know that he doesn't vomit like Chester. If Linkin Park is going to be good one day they need to stop dissing bands like Guns N' Roses which was one of the bands that started it all.

If you actually watched the video, you would see they were smiling and laughing when they said it.. and Chester even says 'That was just for love.' So, basically what I'm trying to say is, you overreacted and jumped to the conclusion that Linkin Park was 'dissing' Guns N' Roses when they really weren't.

Slash is teh secks on guitar.. but other than that GN'R aint that special.. vocalist full of himself.. heh

I just realized a lot of "older" bands that were decent, all went down the drain due to problems with their lead singer.

Examples:

Nirvana

Guns N' Roses

Alice in Chains

heh, not a long list. But my point is Axl is full of himself. Making GN'R lose a lot of respect.. bands aren't much without a lead singer (usually)

Even though my band broke up nine years ago doesn't mean that they won't come back. Slash even this very day November 26, 2005 is always in guitar magazines for his excellent performance and his new band Velvet Revolver. Velvet Revolver has three member form Guns N' Roses. Linkin Park only wishes they could be what Guns n' Roses was and still is.

Yes, but it's also been stated by Slash that a form of GN'R *might* come around again. But Axl Rose will *not* be in it. Making it not GN'R. Just like Foo Fighters isn't Nirvana, even tho they're only missing Kurt.

And yes, it's the same concept, the bands pretty much go to **** when the lead singer decides to do something stupid.

First of all I don't care to read curse words. Second of all the Rolling Stones broke up for eleven years. Yes, eleven years. They are on a tour as we speak called a bigger bang. Wish I saw October 21, 2005. It was great by the way. Anyways no one thought that the fight between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards would get handles and straigtend out but it did. And they have the higest selling rock show in history on their tour right now. So don't tell me that Guns N' Roses will not come back. Even if they don't they will always be number one in my book.

Well then why are you telling us this? No one really cares *that much* about *your* book. The only book people as a whole care about would be uhh, "The Peoples Book"

Which.. here at LPF, Linkin Park is amongst the top, and GN'R isn't.
