Linkin Park Makes Huge Splash On UK Charts

Linkin Park have accomplished an amazing feat on the UK Top 40 Rock Albums charts, having all three of their studio albums, Hybrid Theory, Meteora, and Minutes To Midnight, place in the top 10. Minutes To Midnight placed at #1, Meteora at #4, and Hybrid Theory at #7. Reanimation also placed at #26.

This is especially impressive considering two factors: (1) historically, Linkin Park have not had the same chart success in the UK as they have in other countries, and (2) Hybrid Theory and Meteora were released seven and four years ago, respectively. This is obviously largely influenced by the release and success of Minutes To Midnight, but a commendable feat nonetheless. Congrats to the band!

whoa, they number of years ago they were released is the same as their position (HT 7 years ago, #7, Meteora 4 years ago, #4) haha that's cool.

That is pretty cool, lol.

But yeah, awesome for LP. No one can deny the amount of success they've had across various charts around the world.

This is what really ****** me off; Warner don't do ANY LPU Underground competitions anywhere apart from America, Minutes to Midnight at #1 in the UK charts is PROOF that LP are supported by us English. I'd very much like the chance to win a freaking Fender signed by Linkin Park among the other prizes. But do Warner do it? No. In my opinion, its an insult to the rest of the fans round the world who practically worship Linkin Park, get up at early in the morning to buy their tickets, sell out their concerts and spend HOURS looking for a website that ships to Europe, that has the Super Fan Edition of Minutes to Midnight..

I know 100% that this isn't Linkin Park's fault at all, don't get me wrong, I adore them as a band and would never speak ill of any of the band members.

I blame Warner, and I know there are hundreds of others that agree with me.

MTM is now on #3 in the album top 40 here, last week it was on #2..and considering lp never went high in the dutch charts i'd say they are doing pretty **** good
