Linkin Park to play in Russia on 23rd March

From LP Newsletter:

Linkin Park has just added a new tour date in St. Petersburg, Russia! Tickets go on sale on Friday, March 23, but LP Underground members will have access to presale tickets starting on Thursday, March 22.

I really hope some russian fans tape the whole show because i am keeping my fingers crossed for playing some new songs by them!! :D

sweet another show!!! well they WILL play what ive done maby some b side tracks but im not sure if they... wait a minute 23rd is like the day after tomorow?! u sure u got teh correct dates?

@ Evulture,

In the Thread title you say they will play there on March 23, but you say that the tickets will go on sale on March 23, so what is it? When is the date they will play there, because i'm almost sure it won't be the day after tomorrow:)

and why play one gig in march (aren't the first ones in may?) and not announce it til 2 days before the show...makes no sense

my bet would be it is a publicity stunt.

build up a bit of hype about the band.

plenty of bands have done secret/last minute notice gigs.

take blink 182 for example, they rocked up to a movie theatre in San Diego, set up their ****, and just opened the doors for people.
