Guest talk2mike
I built my PC last April as dual boot Windows 7 32bit and 64 bit on the same hard drive but in separate partitions. All was fine for several months then I accidentally reset bios to default and this lost me the 32bit startup. Ever since running on 64bit and the 32bit partition generally shows (D drive) but often I get a prompt to format the partition. This is cured by a reboot . I have tried the usual repair options with no joy and when I approached MS all they suggested was to rebuild the 32bit partition. I need to know why the partition is appearing to have problems as when I run disk check all is reported as good. Mobo is Asus P8P67Pro with 8gb RAM, I5 2500K CPU, hdds are caviar black 1tb's in raid, system also has cavair green 2tb's in raid, Radeon HD5670 graphic card. Now have lost the D partition as it keeps reporting as RAW and I can't get it back. Dual boot screen still appears but if 32bit option is selected it won't let me continue so I have to revert to 64bit option System not used for gaming. Any ideas please? talk2mike Continue reading...
