LPF Gallery - Administraion Rights???

ive noticed that when logged into the LPF gallery have i admistration rights....i can approve uploads, delete files, change propeties etc....yet in LPF itself i am not a administrator or a member of the LPF elite (as much as i would like to be)....can sum1 plz explain this 2 me
