well um i'm voting against anything with a title like that. if it's really just about the music then you shouldn't need a title like that to get attention

i dont think thats fun I think its stupid ****.

now, some of my titles suck, so i'm not particularly one to criticize but they're usually for humor value not shock value

"Double Bacon ********"

I don't care... if any band came up with a song title like that.. even if I loved the band I would refuse to listen to them, thats a terrible title that lacks shock value & hasn't got an ounce of humour or creativity about it... and that CAN speak volumes about the band themselves *see Hinder*

We got a song named 'Hospital Soup For Now' the reason its titled that the person palying bass for it at the time broke their foot when an amp dropped on their foot. We named it that because we recorded it whilst our Bassist was in hospital having an x-ray. Thats far more clever then calling it '9 out of 10 people enjoy gang rape'

Who cares what a band/musician names their song? As long as the track is solid that's what counts.

if you would really hold back a vote because of that then I mean seriously get a life.

Yeah really, a song is a song, there is no changing that. IF they called like a song by one of your Bands something like "Indie Music Takes it from the Behind on the Nine!" would you say you hate that band? jw...

godspeed you! black emperor is a rediculous name, the music however is pretty great...

names don't matter. don't vote against something just because the musicians decided to name the track something you think is dumb.

I dunno why we are having this discussion though, cause the voting on tracks will be done in the way that all ID tags will be removed, so any tracks you hear you won't know who did them or what they're called

To Azem, you know I have a life & I didnt mean specifically to this album, I mean in general it just annoys me its like limpbizkit calling their album Chocolate Starfish and Hotdog Flavoured Water, it's foul & not clever

That title wasn't for anything I submitted and no one knows that title outside of my band (and useres on here now) so its not for attention its an inside thing...Its pretty sad you guys are so offended by stupid **** like that especially one that is really good instrumental value (no lyrics and if there were words none would be about a DBBJ)...Its also sad that many of you are so against the norm but and odd name brings such attention that its to "trying to be different"...wow...thats ****** up especially when its just an inside band thing that we don't tell anyone about...my girlfriend (at the time we started playing it) didn't/doesn't even know the name of it and she knows almost everything about me and the band...

The title doesn't even matter, if you're saying because a title, somehow, offends you that the song in general is going to offend you just as much, therefore it's bad. That's just like saying I'm a "bad person" or "bad kid" because my hair and my piercings, the quality of performance is more important than the quality of appearance. For example I prefer Limp Bizkit's Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water to Avenged Sevenfold's Waking The Fallen (I actually wrote that before I read Stenners' comment). You should care more about how it sounds in your ears as opposed to how it looks on a jewel case. Under normal circumstances, you can't see music.

On the other hand, I also wouldn't want to be in a band that has an album called "Vaseline on a Lonely Night" or **** like that, so from a personal/pride prospective I can understand, but in reality it's just an internet mixtape. No matter how much it means to anybody, it's just an internet mixtape.

Lol, well to clarify things I didn't necessarily mean you. I meant the other guy who was like apparently throughly offended by the name. You're right there are bands like LB who really don't have any talent and just throw vulgar names on tracks to grab attention. I definitely don't dispute that. I was just saying, that even if a track was named something outrageous I would at least give it a listen before I thoroughly judged it.

DL, don't call people *****...how would u feel if you got called a ****? Not very good would you. Exactly.
