Man charged in decades-old theft of Simpson trophy

A man is facing prison over the theft of an O.J. Simpson Heisman Trophy stolen in 1994, when the former gridiron hero faced charges of murdering his ex-wife and a friend. Los Angeles County prosecutors said that Lewis Eugene Starks would be arraigned on Wednesday on a charge of receiving stolen property after trying to sell the trophy and a plaque in December. The trophy was the University of Southern California's copy of the Heisman awarded to Simpson in 1968 as the country's outstanding collegiate football player.
