Does anyone here play Maple Story?

Its an MMORPG that was developed in Korea.

Basically, you make your own character, and travel around Maple World fighting monsters.

You level up, and can choose your own path, such as becoming a Warrior, Wizard, etc.

You can complete a variety of quests too.

The concept is similiar to Runescape, except the game is 100 times better.

I hate Runescape but I love Maple Story.

Be warned, the install file is 700mb, so its quite the download for our non-broadband users BUT you can download the file in parts.

Im aware there was a thread on this game previously, but it was in the wrong section and well over a year old, with 0 replys.

I suggest everyone checks it out, its good fun.

As I said, you can download it in parts.

Or even get a few mates and do a couple of parts each, so then you can all put your parts together and have the file even sooner.

i dont like maple story, im sorry, its just...it loks and sounds kinda boring, its a side scroller if memory serves me, its kinda like the old megaman side scroller games but hyped up with the MMORPG thing. not a bad concept, just not my cup of tea, friends play it though

i played an equivalent for awhile, Tibia, believe me, it was going great, it was non laggy, graphics were simple,same concept,except not side scroller,choose own path,weapons,vocation,level up,do quests...etc but then the people who owned it started cashing in, and just shat all over the game

Your entitled to your opinion, don't apologize if you don't like it haha.

Maple Story has a Cash part to it, where you can buy things with actual money, but at the same time, you can still earn money in the game, and do quests to receive the items you want, rather then buy them with actual cash.

I used to play Maple Story, was addicted for awhile. It was really fun, except sometimes you're just on and you feel like there's nothing to do except for some unbeatable quests or level again which you've just done like yesterday. Sometimes gets really laggy, and it was kinda heavy on my comp. I eventually deleted it, cuz I guess i got sick of it D: I think I was like just past lvl 32 or something. (I didn't get that far ^^)

When i downloaded (awhile back) it only took like an hour, but then every now and then they make a new patch. **** I'm actually kinda missing it right now haha. I loved the random glitches and how you turn invincible once you lag. (well it happened to me )
