The 68-team National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) men's basketball championship has unbeaten Kentucky as a clear favorite. The phenomenon known as "March Madness" opens with two first-round play-in games Tuesday but fans have been filling out tournament brackets since the pairings were unveiled Sunday night. The American Gaming Association (AGA), a trade group representing the US casino industry, estimates that 40 million Americans will fill out a total of 70 million brackets to bet more than $2 billion on the tournament, much of it in office bracket pools across the nation where productivity figures to take a dip Thursday and Friday, when 16 games are played each day, most during typical work hours.
