Matsuyama, the low amateur in his 2011 debut at Augusta National and fifth last year after a final-round 66, fired a level par 72 Saturday to grab a share of third in the year's first major tournament. Defending champion Jordan Spieth stood atop the leaderboard on three-under 213 with fellow American Smylie Kaufman second a shot behind and at one-under 215 alongside his final-round playing partner, Germany's 58-year-old Bernhard Langer, a two-time Masters winner.
