MONTECASSINO, Italy (AP) — Overall leader Michael Matthews claimed his first individual victory on the sixth stage of the Giro d'Italia on Thursday, but the race was marred by a crash which forced overall contender Joaquim Rodriguez and two Katusha teammates to withdraw.
