meanwhile in Russia

Asian driving is quite the experience... I lived on Okinawa for 2 years. However it pales in comparison to driving in the middle east. Think of middle eastern driving as everyone is 1/2 hour late for everything, and they are all 15 year old kids with 2 weeks of lessons before being handed the keys to a Ferrari.

I lived in Thailand and that was pretty nutty.. especialy as my only transport was a "Chicken chaser".. The Honda Cub 90 I think it's called here.. I did upgrade to an XL125 later which at least had a little bit of go to get you out the way of the Tuk Tuks and all the scooter nutters and the occasional elephant if I strayed too far inland... Most we had on a scooter for a ride home from the bar was 6.. a mile or two of that was pretty uncomfortable! lol..

I lived on the islands which was fairly tame in comparison to Bangkok... no way would I ride a bike there..

Singapore... super polite, very considerate.... cross the Straights into Malaysia... friggin nuts again! Wierd eh?
