Chicago Municipal Code,Title V:


S-12-1 50 Prohibition On Retaliatory Conduct By Landlord.


It is declared to be against public policy of the City of Chicago for
a landlord to take retaliatory action against a tenant, except for
violation of a rental agreement or violation of a law or ordinance. A
landlord may not knowingIy terminate a tenancy, increase rent,
decrease services, bring or threaten to bring a lawsuit against a
tenant for possession or refuse to renew a lease or tenancy because
the tenant has in good faith:


(a.) complained of code violations applicable to the premises to a
competent governmental agency, elected representative or public
official charged with responsibility for enforcement of a building,
housing, health or similar code; or
(b) complained of a building, housing, health or similar code
violation or an illegal landlord practice to a community organization
or the news media; or
(c) sought the assistance of a community organization or the news
media to remedy a code violation or illegal landlord practice; or
(d) requested the landlord to make repairs to the premises as
required by a building code, health ordinance, other regulation, or
the residential rental agreement; or
(e) becomes a member of a tenant's union or similar organization; or
(f) testified in any court or administrative proceeding concerning
the
condition of the premises; or
(g) exercised any right or remedy provided by law.


If the landlord acts in violation of this section, the tenant has a
defense in any retaliatory action against him for possession and is
entitled to the following remedies: he shall recover possession or
terminate the rental agreement and, in either case, recover an amount
equal to and not more than two months' rent or twice the damages
sustained by him, whichever is greater, and reasonable attorney's
fees. If the rental
agreement is terminated, the landlord shall return all security and
interest recoverable under Section 5- 12-080 and all prepaid rent. In
an action by or against the tenant, if there is evidence of tenant
conduct protected herein within one year prior to the alleged act of
retaliation, that evidence shall create a rebuttable presumption that
the
landlord's conduct was retaliatory. The presumption shall not arise
if
the protected , tenant activity was initiated after the alleged act
of

Sec. 1. It is declared to be against the public policy of the
State for a landlord to terminate or refuse to renew a lease or
tenancy of property used as a residence on the ground that the tenant
has complained to any governmental authority of a bona fide violation
of any applicable building code, health ordinance, or similar
regulation. Any provision in any lease, or any agreement or
understanding, purporting to permit the landlord to terminate or
refuse to renew a lease or tenancy for such reason is void.

In the last six months, I have been accused of "feces on the floor",
"urine in the room" and a "bad smell" coming from my small studio on
Chicago's North Side. When I refused to meet with "case manager"
Walter and "property manager" BARBARA DA FART to refute these
insulting and abusive accusations, they once more chose to retaliate
by refusing this 56 year old Devout Roman Catholic and American
Patriot any transportation assistance though I am still facex with
the task of locating nearly $10,000.00 in tuition costs for the
Paralegal Courses at Roosevelt University that I was forced o
withdraw
from last month.

Dear Brave men and women in Blue,


It is the alarming duty of this patriot to report that a resident of
this facility, Black Muslim Terrorist Agnin Mumin has once again been
over-heard bragging of planned "Bombs on 'de Red Line". Comine on
the
annivesary of the WTC attacks this overheard conversation (which took
place in a hallway of this facility) was quite alarming.


Mumin is .doing a great deal of terrorist recruiting under the guise
of "Political organizing" for Barak Obama and now enjoys the aegis of
yet another dangerous pony-tailed liberal named Shawn Stephenson, who
is the current "Assistant Director" of the Mercy Lakefront
Employment,
Training and Education Center which houses a large internet Center
and
is housed in this building.


When I enrolled in the Paralegal Certificate Program at Chicago's
Roosevelt University, a major effort was made by Mumin, Terrorist
enabler Stephenson and the remainder of the Terrorist collaborators
in
this facility to keep me out for good - this was done in ordr to
conceal their Terrorist activities and though I am registered for on
line courses in my work, I am still banned. It seems that the
Radicals in charge of this center are aware of and helping in
Terrorist training and the planning of additional attacks.


Though no connection can be made with the Dangerous group at De Paul
University events appear to be pointing to an even greater danger in
the future.

Mercy Lakefront is continuing its elder abuse, civil rights
violations
by forcing me to walk up to a mile daily just to receive my email and
"Management" has done nothing to help - why should they? THE
MISERABLE BASTARDS REFUSED TO ALLOW ME TO USE THIS FEDERALLY FUNDED
COMPUTER LAB EVEN WHEN I HAD REGISTERED FOR TWO ON LINE PARALEGAL
COURSES AND WERE RELIEVED WHEN I WAS FORCED TO WITHDRAW!!!


AND YOUR TAX DOLLARS ARE PAYING FOT THIS!!!


Mercy Lakefront's ETE Center is breading new ground by offering a
five
week "Janitor Training" Course in cooperation with Little Willie's
Rib Shack Vocational School (which is where Mercy Lakefront "Case
Managers" are trained) so why bother with the Law? But this just HOW
STUPD SOME OF THESE GOONS ARE:


IT TAKES THEM FIVE WEEKS TO LEARN HOW TO MOP A FLOOR?
