The New York Mets placed right-handed pitcher Jacob deGrom on Major League Baseball's family medical emergency list on Saturday to be with his ailing new baby. Mets manager Terry Collins said there were "complications" shortly after deGrom's wife, Stacey, gave birth to their first child, son Jaxon Anthony, on Monday. "We're all praying and pulling for him," Collins said.
