Micorosoft Office Professional - Reinstalling several times on only one Computer- Licese Key...

I purchased a computer from Dell in early January (three months ago), and for some reason

after I run System Mechanic it fixes many registry keys, which ends up shutting

down all Microsoft 2010 products in a matter of two seconds..(Outlook, Excel, Word,

etc.) The dll files get corrupted and as a result Dell technicians have set me

back to factory settings too many times and also had me buy Windows 7

professional after selling me Windows 7 Home version first.

I have, after three months lost any hope that a Dell technician can help me. All they

do is like a parrot, over and over again, uninstall, reinstall, set to factory

settings, and remove software tech install software. The new group that has

been on my system for two days now, has taken off my Microsoft Office 2010

themselves twice, and are now telling me that my license key is not working!

In the meantime,Dell technicians are also calling me as I continue to email them and now they

say, "Why don't I buy another Microsoft Office 2010 Professional version

for another $349.00" This is so I can get another license key! But I own

two MS Office Pro keys already. One license is on my old computer, that I am

trying to put out to pasture, and now one on this new Dell 8300 desktop.

My questions are:

1.) Could the key get corrupted after 10-12 installs on the SAME computer?

2.) Do I need to spend $349 for a complete new version, when all I need is a key code because

the current key may have issues?

3.) Could it be that MS has a security feature that shuts down the proper download of dll

files or something, even if you are downloading weekly with the same ip address

over and over again?

4.) MS support says - pay $259 for a phone call. Dell says pay $349 for a new program.

I am not convinced that either solution will help, and in both cases I am out more money.

Any help would be fabulous. I am a CPA and bought this computer for tax season that ends April 15th. As it is March 29th, you can imagine how upset I am with Dell.
