Democratic primary and Sen. Barack Obama is making no progress closing
the gap. But Mayor Giuliani is running even with any of the top
Democratic contenders, moving Connecticut from Democratic blue to
swing state purple at this point," said Quinnipiac University Poll

either is the Republican candidate," Richards added.
"Giuliani beats Obama 45 - 39 percent and gets 43 percent to Edwards'
