Hybrid Theory EP Overrated: Step Up (guitar gets REALLY old after awhile) Underrated: Part of Me (verses are insane) Hybrid Theory Overrated: One Step Closer (I love it live but the album version isn't my thing) Underrated: Pushing Me Away (WOW) Reanimation Overrated: Enth E Nd (blah, it's only good when FM does it live. Motion Man and Kutmasta Kurt RUINED it) Underrated: FRGT/10 (Mike's main verse is one of the best on the album) and By Myself remix (amazing bridge) Meteora Overrated: Numb (song fucking sucks. it was a good song but it got SO overplayed I doubt I'll ever listen to the album version again in my life) Underrated: Figure.09 (Mike's best verses since Reading My Eyes) and Easier to Run (just an amazing song, Rob does great, Chester holy fuck) Live in Texas (all songs, not just the CD) Overrated: From the Inside (not that big a fan of it live in 03. it's good now though) Underrated: Pushing Me Away remix (very. good. they need to keep doing it live) Collision Course Overrated: Izzo/In the End (I hate it. period. I haven't heard much opinions about the songs on the rest of the albums, so I can't really say. Also, good point on Izzo/ITE. Haha, they really shouldn't have done that. SIB, LFY, Faint and HTF were songs that were meant to be nu-metalish....I don't think they were that good compared to shit like Papercut, Points of Authority, A Place for My Head and Runaway. Has more of a fresh, raw feel to it. For Meteora, it seems like they tried to redo what the did with HT, and though it kinda worked and is a really great album, HT is still better. Off topic am I? FTI would have been even better if Chester would have done his vocals differently and the song was mixed a tad differently. Look at the Making of Meteora DVD at the FTI demo. The guitar and drums sound a lot different. When they recorded the final version, I think they should have made it heavier like the demo was. Mike has good vocals but Chester...eh. they're too "girly". He should have like made them a tad heavier in certain places in the song. "I don't know who to trust, no suprise." at the beginning and "I won't trust myself with you" after the chorus definetely needed to be changed. The song's chorus is great but he ruins it for me at the end with the way he says "you". Maybe I'm just too picky. Maybe it's just me lol. But yeah FTI overall is a great song. Something about it just rubs me the wrong way I don't know but I still like it. Crawling (Crawling is like Hybrid Theory's Numb is the best song on the album for me but like so many it's over played. Underrated: Points of Authority, By Myself, Papercut Meteora Overrated: Somewhere I Belong (You know I like this quite a bit but to me it's just not my favorite and I think it's been played a bit too much) Numb (Now don't get me wrong because Numb in my opinion is Linkin Park's best song hands down and the song I would recommend to anyone interested in them, but I will admit it is a bit over played as well but that doesn't affect how much I like it. Underrated: Don't Stay, From the Inside, Breaking the Habit (It's funny because I really enjoy a lot of these songs but I never really hear too much talk about them.)
