Move Outlook task/calendar items to new pst file

This may be as simple as it looks, though I wanted to ask just in case I missed something.
I want to consolidate task and calendar items into a new PST file; once I open the old PST file (Outlook 2007) in Outlook 2010 and switch to either the calendar or task view can I select the item and (move) to a new folder?
