MSE keeps asking to run a scan even though a full scan has been run in the last 24 hours

I keep getting a message regarding MSE that my computer may be at risk as I haven't run a scan recently. The icon comes up orange. This happens frequently even though I run an automatic scan weekly. It even happens when I have run a full the same day. Today it has happened 3 times and I have run a full scan twice today
