MSE reports an Error Code 0x80070ec when trying to disinfect Sirefef.N from XP

Need help removing Sirefef.N

MSE gave me two real time messages of activity, and attempted to disinfect. Both returned the Error Code 0x80070ec saying a software command was preventing compleion.

Ran a Full scan and MSE found multiple copies in C:\System Volume Information\_restore { ((then file name)) and a copy in Windows\System32\drivers\afd

MSE took action of "Disinfect" but returned the same error code each time. Recommend to remove file.

Any help getting rid of this would be appreciated.
